Customers are invited to interact with Smart-Home equipment at Bunnings Warehouse locations throughout Australia and New Zealand. X Pod is a low, fixed-angle solution, allowing clear sightlines to signage, while X Desk allows the screen angle to be adjusted for comfortable usage. For privacy, Bunnings preferred to conceal the front-facing camera of the enclosed Samsung tablets while widening the aperture to allow swipe from off-screen tablet features to better control the smart-home devices. Sprocket designed a custom faceplate to facilitate these requirements. Over an initial period of 4 months, 690 X Pods and 300 X Desks were deployed to all Bunnings Warehouse Store locations throughout Australian and NZ, with additional stores subsequently added as they came online. Sprocket continues to support the fleet to this day.
